Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model American actor. The actor gained fame following his performance as a character in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred in 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition to his work as a character in the film, he's been featured in more than 22 television programs like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. Qualls survived Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was first diagnosed at the age of 14 old. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. Being treated at such a young stage had a negative effect on the body. It hindered his development. Once he started acting financially secure, it was his ultimate goal as he had seen poverty throughout his early years. In the wake of living in poverty over the years, I must have this level of financial safety. In the absence of it, everything seems beyond my reach. Looking back at his youth, he wants to change the course of the problem of bullying. The cruelty of bullying breaks my heart, DJ claims. He claims that his dream job would be that of father figures in reality and in film. However, he does admit that directors don't usually make him the ideal choice for those kinds of jobs. He'd like to be a dad one day, to be able to devote more time with his child and not be so occupied with his work.
